The only draw back was that I had to purchase an adapter for my Aiwo stereo. It is an older model, so the transmitter on the microphone was too large for the connection on my system. Otherwise, it worked great! This review is from: PylePro PDWM94 Dual Function Wireless/Wired Microphone System (Electronics) Even if I were reviewing this as a wired mic (the product comes with a short cable to do so), I would only give it a 2. Very low volume in cable mode. But as a wireless mic, it is horrible. There is so much "white noise" inserted into the mix from the mic/receiver that it makes the karaoke DVDs/CDs sound like listening to a weak FM station with lots of hiss. I bought 2 of them - both exhibit the same poor performance. On top of that, the battery covers on both receiver units constantly fall off. Definitely not recommended.
